International Corporate Compliance Certification Program – Compact Course
Description:
  1. Sensitivity Workshop: Introduction to Compliance: The participants must become aware that organizations need to seek mechanisms to avoid incurring any type of civil, administrative, and/or criminal liability. 
  2. Development of Integrity Culture & Ethical Management; The participants have the capacity to develop instruments facilitating the embodiment of the entity's expected values and behaviors, and the various ways in which ethical situations can be addressed. 
  3. Compliance and Anti-bribery Management System: The participants know the requirements of the ISO 37001 and ISO 37301 standard involves analyzing the organization's context, assessing risks, and designing operational controls to facilitate the development of the management system. 
  4. Compliance and Anti-bribery Risk Management: The participants know with the risk management framework outlined in ISO 31000, enabling them to implement a compliance risk management system. 
  5. Analysis and Evaluation of the Legal and Regulatory Environment: the participant understands the obligations of applicable legal compliance. 
  6. Best Practices in Corporate Governance and Board Management: The participants know the key guidelines outlined in ISO 37303: Guidance for Corporate Governance. 
  7. Corporate Sustainability Compliance: The participants are knowledgeable about integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into the compliance strategy. 
  8.  Specific Risk Areas (participants must choose one of them compulsorily, the others are optional):
8.1 Digital Compliance: The participants know mechanisms for preventing the improper use of insider information related to information security and the protection of personal data
8.2 Corruption Prevention: Anti-bribery, Fraud, Collusion, Influence Peddling, and Misuse of Insider Information: Participants can identify the core elements of fraud, including practices prescribed by international standards and national legislation concerning corruption schemes.
8.3 Money Laundering: Provide the necessary tools to understand relevant theoretical and normative concepts regarding money laundering, as well as to identify risks within organizations.
  1. Concerns & Whistleblowing Management System: The participant understands the relevant aspects for creating, implementing, managing, and improving a whistleblowing channel, as well as recommendations for managing internal investigations. 
  2. Due diligence processes: The participant is familiar with the key aspects of due diligence processes and the tools available for their development. 
  3.  Internal Audit: Participants acquire skills and abilities to plan, prepare, conduct, and execute internal audits, analyze the Audit Program and process, and obtain results that enable the improvement of the Management System and the Organization's processes.
Previous skills/knowledge: No prior knowledge is required; the program is aimed at Leaders and compliance collaborators, HR representatives, legal advisors, legal experts, professionals or students in fields related to corporate practices, consultants, internal auditors, third-party auditors, seeking to deepen their knowledge in compliance and in the application, implementation, and improvement of management systems, programs, and ethical policies.

Previous skills/knowledge:
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 55001 asset management systems (AMS) requirements
  • Professional experience, including related to QMS/EMS/OHSAS (or other international standard based) management systems (recommended)
  • Knowledge or professional experience in Risk Assessment (recommended).

  • Be qualifiable as ISO 22301 BCM Lead auditor (additional requirements for auditing may apply, such as the context of the audited organization, applicable laws and regulations);
  • To explain the different phases of the BCM life-cycle;
  • Understand the interrelationships between BCM elements;
  • To know BCM related concepts, tools and activities, including business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessment, continuity and recovery strategies, incident management, business continuity plans, exercises and performance evaluation);
  • To participate in the selection of the audit team
  • To prepare the audit plan
  • To represent the audit team before the customer
  • To give instructions to the audit team

  • To have proven competence in risk management (recommended). Training in risk assessment may be considered as a (mandatory) substitute.
