SA8000 Internal Auditor
Description:
  • To evaluate the definition and effective implementation of a Social Responsibility management system complying with the requirements of SA8000
  • To follow the instructions of the internal lead auditor and support him (if integrated in an internal audit team)
  • To be able to calculate Basic Needs Wage and Living Wage
  • To be able to conduct stakeholders’ consultation
  • To be able to conduct employees (non-management) interviews
  • To be able to perform and review Social Fingerprint Self-Assessment
  • To collect and analyse enough evidence (e.g., through site visit, employee individual and group interviews, management interviews, photo reporting, observation and sampling of documentation) to determine the audit findings and define the audit conclusions
  • To document the internal audit findings
  • To collaborate in drafting the internal audit report
  • To interchange information with the rest of the members of the internal audit team and with the auditee personnel.
Previous skills/knowledge: Professional experience, including related to QMS/EMS (or other international standard based) management systems (recommended).

Teaching requirements: - Training provider be a signatory of the SA8000 Representative Agreement with IQNet Ltd, be a qualified IQNet Ltd SA8000 Lead Auditor, approved by IQNet Ltd as Trainer, to provide a master copy of course material and test upon request by IQNet Ltd
Objectives to achieve: To get the necessary knowledge and skills to:
  • Be qualifiable as SA8000 Social Responsibility internal auditor (additional requirements from qualifying entity may apply)
  • Understand the principles and requirements of SA8000 management system
  • Understand the principles of internal audit
  • Be able to assume responsibilities in any activity of the internal auditing process
  • Understand the functions and competences that any auditor must have to carry out first, second party, and certification audits
  • Be able to apply auditing guidelines to SA8000 internal audits.
IQNet SR10 Management System
Description: After this course, participants should be able to:   
  • Understand the importance and principles of social responsibility
  • Understand and address the requirments of IQNet SR10 requirements
  • Be able to assume responsibilities in the definition, implementation, operation and monitoring of social responsibility management systems according to the requirmenets of IQNet SR10 specification
  • Understand of the implications of each of the components of a social responsibility management system according to the requirements of IQNet  SR10
  • Understand the relationship between IQNet SR10 and ISO 26000, as well as synergies with other sustainability related schemes (e.g. GRI, ISO 20121)
  • Be able to conduct IQNet SR10 gap analysis or self-assessment
  • Be able to conduct stakeholders need analysis and interviews.

Teaching requirements: - Trainer to be an IQNet SR10 qualified auditor - The course shall include both theoretical and practical approach. Exhibition and practical workshops are advised.
Objectives to achieve:
  • Assist participants from all types of organizations that may need to apply a social responsibility principles to their operations and manage related schemes (e.g. IQNet SR10) requirements in a systematic way
  • Promote IQNet SR10 in the market (e.g. amongst MS consultants or potential clients)
  • Increase the awareness and competence of IQNet Ltd Representative own personnel.
IQNet SR10 Lead Auditor
Description: Competences detailed in IQNet SR10 Internal auditor MTS 020, plus

  • To participate in the selection of the audit team
  • To prepare the audit plan
  • To represent the audit team before the customer
  • To give instructions to the audit team
  • To inform any relevant obstacle identify during the audit process
  • To be responsible of all the audit steps
  • To present the audit report
  • To follow up and close the audit process.
Previous skills/knowledge:
  • To be qualified as a MS Auditor by an IQNet Ltd Representative
  • Preferably qualified in at least two of the following certification schemes: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, SA8000, EFQM or other management systems related to environmental management, legal issues, operational health and safety and safety issues or social accountability
Note: IQNet SR10 auditor candidates must comply with the SR10 Rulebook

Teaching requirements: - Trainer to be a qualified SR10 trainer by IQNet; - Course to be developed in classroom (option A) or as a combina-tion of classroom (minimum 8 hours) and self-studying (option B); - Case studies and extensive practical examples to be included.

  • To provide the necessary knowledge on Social responsibility, and especially on, to be able to perform IQNet SR10 audits
  • To reach this main goal, other objectives include:
    • To understand the concept and scale of Social Responsibility
    • To know the main issues of Social Responsibility included in ISO 26000
    • To identify the different models and tools available in the market to deploy SR principles
    • To analyze the requirements of  SR 10 standard as model for the implementation of a Social Responsibility Management Systems
    • To evaluate the benefits derived from the implementation of the IQNet SR 10 standard
    • To know the IQNet SR 10 certification scheme and how to perform certification audits (IQNet SR 10 Rulebook) .
IQNet SR10 Internal Auditor
Description:

ISO 37001 Lead Auditor
Description: Competences detailed in 37001 Anti-Bribery Internal auditor MTS 018, plus
 

  • To participate in the selection of the audit team

  • To represent the audit team before the customer
  • To give instructions to the audit team
  • To inform of any relevant obstacle identified during the audit process
  • To be responsible of all the audit steps
  • To present the audit report
  • To follow up and close the audit process.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery management systems requirements
  • Demonstrable evidence of participation in ISO 37001 audits (>1 audit recommended)
  • Professional experience, including in anti-bribery management systems (recommended).

Teaching requirements: - Trainer to be a qualified ISO 9001/QMS and/or other MS and/or ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Lead Auditor (recommended); - Course to be developed in classroom (at least 24 hours).

To get the necessary knowledge and skills to:

  • Apply the proper interpretation of the standard in actual audit situations
  • Plan the audit
  • Carry out anti-bribery management system audits
  • Define the responsibilities of the audit team´s members
  • Know the functions and attitudes that an auditor must follow
  • To effectively coordinate meetings with the audit team members and/or with auditee personnel
  • Identify and write non-conformities and other deviations and suggest ways in which the effectiveness of corrective action might be verified.
ISO 37001 Internal Auditor
Description:
  • To follow the instructions of the lead auditor and support him
  • To collect and analyze enough evidences (e.g. through interview, observation and sampling of documentation) to determine the audit findings and define the audit conclusions
  • To audit the effective implementation of anti-bribery specific operations and tools (such as bribery risk assessment, due diligence, financial and non-financial controls and anti-bribery compliance function)
  • To document the audit findings
  • To collaborate in drafting the audit report
  • To interchange information with the rest of the members of the audit team and with the auditee personnel.


Previous skills/knowledge:
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery management systems requirements
  • Professional experience, including related to QMS/EMS (or other international standard based) management systems (recommended).
