Description:
- Knowledge and understanding on current requirements of standards, and how they differentiate from traditional MS,
- Understanding the innovation management benefits and principles,
- Ability to use applicable tools and methods,
- Understanding on the importance of engaging and empowering people in the organization,
- Facilitate establishing partnerships, cooperation and involvement initiatives both internally as with organization’s stakeholders,
- Ability to assist in determining organizational innovation vision, strategy, policy and objectives,
- Understanding of the processes needed to achieve the intended purpose of an IMS, and ability to support and participate in related activities
Previous skills/knowledge: No previous knowledge required. Experience in participation in improvement/innovation projects would be beneficial

Teaching requirements: Advanced knowledge and understanding of innovation management and applicable tools, gained through academic, research, development, consulting, auditing, implementation and/or management experience.
Objectives to achieve: To get the necessary knowledge and skills to: implement an Innovation Management System and understanding:
- the use of strategic intelligence and intellectual property as enablers of an IMS,
- the importance of investing in the first stages of the process during the idea development phase,
- the critical role of the innovation portfolio within the IMS
- the development and promotion of an innovation culture throughout the organizatio
